The Gravity of Enlightenment and 2012

2012 ? Is known as a date to spread fear and confusion into the minds of everyday people. From all those doomsday prophecies to the end of the world myths, this date has been turned about side down from what it is really supposed to mean. People know really little about the true meaning of 2012 and what it represents, not only what it represents to the human civilization but to the Universe itself.

I don?t want to talk too much about what is going to happen in 2012 or who tell about the prophecies and if it will happen and how. Those questions will always be unanswered until the day comes for us to see. Instead I want to talk about something more important that 2012 will bring to us and that is the journey of enlightenment and how much gravity 2012 has on it. People don?t understand that they shouldn?t be worrying about what is going to happen how, but instead they should take this time that they have and increase their level of consciousness and reach enlightenment, because at that point it won?t really matter what will happen.

Before I go into talking about meditation and enlightenment and how to progress towards that, I wanted to first show you some of the cultures that have their eyes fixed upon this date and are waiting moment by moment for it to enter their doorsteps.

Cultures and 2012

Hopi: An ancient civilization that currently live in Arizona, who predicted the coming of the ?White Man?, several of the world wars, and the nuclear dispute in the super powers of the world. They go on to say that there will be the New Age, where all of this will come to an end and humanity will enter into the ?5th world?.
Mayans: As we know the Mayans have the long count calendar that is coming to an end, and re-entering a New Age, they also pinpoint 2012, in fact they are the most talked about who predicted this date, although not the only ones. According to them we are entering the completion of creation.

Zulu: Give information saying that the ?whole world will be turned upside down?, which makes sense because the world as we know it is currently in space/time, but will be entering a time/space according to lot?s of sources.

Hindus: Following the Lunar calendar the Hindu prophecy of Lord Krishna is supposed to occur as well. The prophecy is almost precisely the same as the Mayans have predicted, yet both these cultures never met. They say this is the end of the Kali Yuga (end time of man) and the rebirth of the enlightened ones on this plane.
Incas: The Inca calendar also ends on the year of 2012, they also mention the turning over of life, the renewal of life. They mention several times of an aligning of the planets which will bring forth the New Age, which relates to the science community of the aligning of the Earth, Sun, and our galaxy.

Aztec: Also similar prophecies as to the Mayans and the rest of the ancient cultures. They too point to the date of 2012, in December at 11: 11 to be exact. They follow the long count calendar which is do to end on that date. For them it is a time of the 6th sun, a New Age of creation.

Dogon: Have a bit of a different take on it, they talk about a returning of a spaceship to form a new blue star, which seems to be relating to us and the Earth, and the new times ahead.

Cherokee: Another very ancient culture points to the date of 2012 as well.

Tibetan: The Tibetan teachings also prophesize of the New Age that is coming up ahead in our time, left by the Buddha himself.

Egyptians: Also have the same perspective, on their stone calendar, and it ending in 2012 A.D.

Those are just the main cultures that point towards this date/time of the coming age. This is backed up with lot?s of theories and metaphysical science, not all provable, and probably never will be for it will inflict the Law of Free Will on many levels.

Consciousness and 2012

Most people have a natural impulse to fear 2012 because they are shooting at it in the dark. What I mean by this is people know that something will happen in 2012 but they don?t know what, so they don?t know what to do about it. They resort to a lot of talking and little doing.

If a person talked continuously stating that one day he will be rich and one did he will have all the cars he wants and live in a big house, would he get all that just from talking? No, never. If he had that in mind and did everything in his power to reach that state, then he has a great shot.

Well guess what fear and 2012 go in the same direction as that example. People spend countless hours talking about what will happen in the future and how it will affect everyone, but those people really don?t have a clue about what they are going to do about it. The most important aspect to keep in mind is to do something about events like 2012. If this event does happen it won?t be to wipe out all of mankind, that wouldn?t be too progressive on the who ever runs this game. Instead progressing in consciousness is the best way to go, you really have nothing to lose if you do so, and you will no longer be in the dark about 2012, but instead have a light to guide your through it.

Here are some important statistics I found online I think everyone should know about, well at least who ever is interested in consciousness and 2012 that is. If you don?t know what wanderers are which there is right now 50% of the popular that consist of them, they are entities that are not really from Earth, but instead came here to help humanity to progress to the next level, but most importantly the Earth.

Percentage of ?Star kids/Seeds/Wanderers? on the Planet: 40 ? 45% of population (measured 04/10/08).
Average ?incarnation LoC? for all living Wanderers on the planet: around 360. Average ?incarnation LoC? for all Terrestrials on the planet: around 150. ?

Right now the Earth calibrates at around the level of 200, just over the state of truth hood which was taken from the writings of Dr.Hawkins PhD MD. This means that out of the 1000 levels that humans have the potential of reaching most calibrate around 200. Levels of consciousness represent states that a person is one in life and emotion, but most importantly the state of their overall consciousness during the present time span. The reason why I say time span is because most people jump on these levels up and down during the day, but a person is on average always somewhere on that chart either going up or down over a long period of time.
Why is this important you ask? Well because 2012 is the gravity point of both sides of the levels of consciousness. What this means is that as 2012 comes closer and closer the weight of both polarities, this being positive and negative, are at their strongest influence upon humanity as a whole. So if a person is somewhat close to enlightenment and is on the level of love, as the time becomes closer to the date their calibration weight will heavily get boosted to the top, and those that are close to the negative side will get pushed down towards more negativity.

The Universe is simply balancing itself out and placing people in the positions they chose to go themselves.

Practical Guide for 2012

I honestly did not want to get to technical with all those levels of consciousness and how it works because I could literally type up several hundreds pages about what I know on it. Instead of talking about what 2012 is about I want to talk about what to do about it. Since I feel this is a very left out position on every website I visit that is about 2012.

Meditation ? Please wait! I don?t mean you have to sit silently in a room full of candles and be thoughtless for hours, no way! In fact I think this hurts a lot of people who are used to very hectic days going from work to cooking and taking care of their kids. Instead what I am trying to point out is for you to have some time to remember. Meditation isn?t something that you do, but something that you are a part of. People sitting in a circle talking about their fantasies of the future are a meditating too and its just one of the ways to connect into unity with other people.

So get together with some like minded people and talk, connect about reality and express your minds, allow yourself to be part of something and enjoy life. Simply keeping life to just three aspects of compassion, simplicity, and joy can make all the difference in your day to day life.

Universe>You ? Another way to imagine this is to picture yourself compared to the universe and really absorb how small you are compared to the vastness of the wonders that we see in the sky at night. No this isn?t to make you feel down because you are not special, well you are and you are not, but the point of this is to really make you feel like you have no pressure and nothing to worry about than simply raising your consciousness and loving yourself and others.

Nature ? Nature is your best friend and will always be, so get in tune with it and spend some time outside near a tree or simply look at the sun once in a while. Pay attention to your surroundings and zone out from your singular consciousness. You are part of the oneness that exists everywhere, you simply need to start remembering that and life will really be better.

There is much more I can say, but I think this is enough for now, in summary what I am trying to tell you is not to worry to much about 2012 being something bad or negative, the Universe doesn?t work that way and never will, there is greater purpose than simply wiping out a civilization who can love other more than anyone else, if only we remembered why we are here.

The Eight Horsemen of 2012

The Mayans were an intelligent civilization that had advanced writing, knew mathematics and were well versed in astronomy. Most people think that perhaps the world will end in 2012, because this is the prophesy of the Mayans. The Mayans made this prediction 2000 years ago and the dire date of doom is December 21, 2012. Why is 2012 so significant? Should we be worried? Should we even care? Let's take the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and see what imminent threats lie ahead. Then let's add a few more horsemen. Let's really get this party started! After we are all done, let's add everything up and see if we truly have something dark in the forecast.

Horseman known as War: In the bible it's mentioned in Matthew 24:6..."you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars...." The threat of war is around us. We know of the war in Iraq. There is still a lot of unrest in the Middle East. Russia is starting to give us the cold shoulder again. Russia supports a nuclear program for Iran. Iran doesn't like Israel and it goes on and on and on. What if Iran declares to have nuclear capabilities. Our intelligence agents learn that they are planning to do a preemptive strike on their enemy Israel. Then America would step in, we most likely would lay out a preemptive strike first on Iran and somewhere Magog aka Russia would make their move. We must remember that in Ezekiel 38 through 39 tells of a future invasion of Israel by a vast coalition of nations that surround it. Laying down the foundation for Armageddon. So as you can see the threat of war will always be with us.

Horseman known as Famine: Not a problem, with global warming on the horizon, we should easily have all sort of droughts throughout the world. Drought equals mass starvation. There is chunk of ice the size of Connecticut breaking off from Antarctica. What is next a chunk of ice, the size of Texas? Then a chunk of ice the size of Alaska? That should bring on some rising waters, destroy a few cities. Everyone listen up to Al Gore. We are headed for disaster! The way global warming is headed, we will be seeing rising sea levels, glacial retreats, a shrunken Arctic, some extreme weather conditions, more forest fires, powerful hurricanes and tropical cyclones, agriculture disasters. When 2012 gets here, it should be getting worse. Does anyone see it getting better? I think it's a bit too late. Okay Mayans, what else do you have for us?

Horseman known as Pestilence: This one is easy. The Brazilian rain forest is practically gone. We keep on cutting down the trees and god knows what diseases are hiding in that luscious forest, waiting to creep up on mankind. We already have AIDS, flesh eating bacteria, some kind of super bug. We should all prepare for some major diseases in our near future. Maybe around 2012. You got to love those Mayans! Bring on the plagues!

Horseman known as Death: If global warming really gets a good kick start, there should be a lot of drought hitting one of our biggest land masses...Africa. If wars and the threat of terrorism continues, we should see more of death. If diseases and plagues sweep around the world easily through mass air transportation, that should wipe out a majority of the human race. Yep, death should be all around us. It's already all around us.
Before we talk about some other Horsemen. Let's talk about a white buffalo calf. The Apache, Blackfoot, Caddo, Hidatsa, Commanche, Cheyenne, Arapaho, Cherokee, Chippewa, Mandan and the Sioux all believed in a prophesy that would lead us towards end times. This would happen when a white buffalo came upon our world. Meet Miracle, a pure white buffalo born on August 20, 1994 on the Heider Farm in Janesville, Wisconsin. Hmmm...let me see, 1994 is pretty close to 2012. Coincidence? Maybe there is something to this prophesy. I guess, we will have to wait and see.

New Horseman known as Solar Dragon: Researchers at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) make claim that we will be hit by the heaviest solar flare that even overshadows the historic Solar Max of 1958. With all of the technology that we use, such as cell phones, computers and everything else, this solar flare could black out the whole world in one foul sweep! This solar flare can hit us either in the year, 2010, 2011 or 2012! There we go again mentioning 2012. Yep, we have a definite storm coming, a solar storm! What disaster will this solar storm produce for mankind?

Since the Mayans knew astronomy so well, they were able to predict a fantastic alignment. Our galaxy has a center. In this center, in which billions of stars take millions of years to revolve around, is located in the thickest star cluster that is part of the milky way, as seen from Earth. On December 21, 2012, guess what happens? During the Winter Solstice, this center will align with our own sun. This alignment was seen as significant to the Mayans. Is this alignment as significant as the Star of Bethlehem was to the birth of Jesus?
Let's meet a few more Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

New Horseman Known as Axis. Yep, there is another threat on the horizon. A little bit of global cooling and perhaps the Earth will shift by a mere 33.5 degrees. That would cause some major damage. How many of us can survive an axis shift?
New Horseman Known as Quake: Sounds like a WWE wrestler, but this Horsemen will shake you up! The ring of fire around the Pacific rim is getting more and more active. Earthquakes are increasing and more are predicted around the year...yeah...you know...2012.

New Horsemen Known as Comet: Some people who dabble with the bible code, think that Earth will be impacted by a comet. This one I don't buy, now if they were talking about asteroid 99942 Apophis impacting us in 2029 or 2036, that one I could swallow. But, the way NASA recently shot down a satellite, we most like would be prepared for a threat from an engaging asteroid or comet.

With all of the Horsemen looming down upon us, I hope Zecharia Sitchin is correct that he says that Planet X aka Nibiru is nearing a close orbit towards Earth.

Perhaps Anu and his two sons Enki (Ea) and Enlil, if they ever stop feuding for a while, will gather the rest of the Anunnakis to save us from a futuristic doomscape. The only reason why I mention Planet X, is because there are many believers who believe in the second coming and that we will all be saved. For those who believe the words of the Summerian clay tablets, they believe Planet X will return to close proximity to Earth and a new age will be brought forth, as the Anunnakis reveal themselves once again to mankind. We will learn that our myths and religions were actually centered on the gods from Nibiru. Stories of Poseidon and Neptune are in reality the story of Anu as he returned to Nibiru to dominate the seas and waters. Perhaps the Mayans received their astronomy know-how from the gods. The gods of Nibiru.

Perhaps a great disaster will unfold around the year 2012, but I also believe that if we face grave disasters, we somehow will overcome and a new world will be brought forth. A new age and perhaps during this new age, we will also learn that we are not alone in the universe.

Oh, I said, let's add everything up to see if we are actually doomed for the year 2012. Let me see, if you add this horseman with this horseman. Then add this horseman with....ahh shucks, we better get ready to kiss our ---- goodbye. Doesn't look good folks!

How to Prepare for a Catastrophic Event On 12/21/12

In case of a catastrophic event on December 21, 2012 I would like to supply a preparation guide to help get through in case of an emergency. There has obviously been a stronger buzz going around about this date that has not only been predicted, but also showing signs of scientific possibilities in recent years. The date is only 4 years away and it's never a good idea to wait until it's too late to start thinking of a game plan.


Instructions 

• Constantly pay attention to any natural disasters / changes to the world as we know it and take note of how much more effective these natural changes are becoming.
  
• Saving some extra cash is never a bad thing. Could it be a bit tough with today's economy? Absolutely. But if you create a mindset to save "X" amount on a weekly basis, you can easily accomplish that.
  
• Have a 1 - 2 month supply of water / non perishable food. This is especially essential in storm prone area's.
  
• First Aid Kit / Medicines. This is something that everybody should have at all times.
  
• Store a sleeping bag / blanket in the back of your vehicle. Even if you never have to use it, it is always better to have it and not use it than not have it and obviously not be able to use it.
  
• Being prepared is not a difficult task at hand. Once you do it, you are set. Spread the word to friends and family and help them in becoming a prepared member in society.
  
  

Dan Aykroyd and the end of the world

The apocalyptic movie "2012" wasn't good enough for the Oscars

to take seriously. But a small cast of celebrities are taking the hit film's premise seriously: that 2012 could be the end of the world as we know it.

Stars who have ruminated publicly about 2012 being The End include Woody Harrelson, Lil' Wayne, Joe Rogan, Montel Williams and the grande dame of New Age spirituality, Shirley MacLaine.

to that list.

Aykroyd and I were catching up the other day because he's in Vegas to autograph bottles of his Crystal Head Vodka at an Albertsons (4 p.m. Tuesday, 10250 W. Charleston Blvd.).
And he's giving Wednesday's keynote address at the Nightclub & Bar Convention at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Because Aykroyd is a pop-renaissance man, I started by asking him about his many interests: The House of Blues (he and his partners sold it in 2006, but he's still spokesman-consultant); Crystal Head Vodka, which he co-created (no chemical additives); and "Ghostbusters III" (the script's closer to being done).

Then I asked Aykroyd, 57, about his interests in UFOs, which led to this:
He thinks "the UFO phenomenon is going to figure greatly" in a 2012 "revelation," when "the end of the world will come."

"It won't be the end of the world physically as we know it, as depicted in the movie. But it will be the end of consciousness and the end of perception as we know it."

Aykroyd is a "great admirer of George Knapp," who has chronicled UFO phenomena for decades in Nevada.

And Aykroyd, a lifetime benefactor of MUFON.com, has visited the town of Rachel on Extraterrestrial Highway and marveled at "real photographs" there of sightings.

"These aren't hoaxes or fakes," he said. "Dozens of Army officers, police, sheriffs, emergency workers -- people who are outside all day, all night, all the time -- are consistently coming forward to report events."
UFO phenomena could be elements in a 2012 realignment, perhaps as mass revelations or mass sightings, he said.

"Mass telepathic content has already occurred throughout North America on many occasions, the last notable one being in 1994 in (Quebec), where there was an incident that involved about 2,000 people being called to their back porches to look up into the sky and witness an event with a craft at the same time. That was a telepathic event where they were all contacted." Clearly, some kind of end is near, he said.

"As Shirley MacLaine puts it: The light is going to go out in the next few years, 2012, and a new perception will come on. "Whether that has to do with the dominance of dark matter in the universe -- or some triumph/domination of good and evil -- the light we know now, whether that's a good light or a bad light, is going to change. "There's going to be a phase-wave shift in everything, and that's very exciting. I don't think it's destructive. I think it's going to be very constructive." I asked him how we should prepare. 

"I think we should open our minds and start being better human beings to each other, and accept that this may be the way of life. We've got to be more compassionate, more loving, more positive thinking."
A worst-case scenario is that "the good light" will go out and we will experience "the bad light." If that happens, people who practice on behalf of the good light will be even more pressed to "fight" against "whatever darkness is coming," he said. I asked him, "Fight how?" "Fight like hell!" he said. "Fight like hell on the side of the road." I asked him how Nevada will fit into all this.

He answered by unfurling an incredibly deep knowledge of Vegas and Nevada. He reflected on the UFO culture of Rachel; the state's military; Nevada's "beautiful topography"; Mayor Oscar Goodman's adeptness at handling issues; the strength of "first families" and entrepreneurs in Nevada, such as the Maloofs; the positive ways Vegas embraces performance artists; our liberal attitudes toward leisure; UNLV's educational culture; and the big brains of math doctorates who work for multidynamic hotels.

Many of those strengths mean Vegas could take in refugees in 2012, he said. "There's no city on Earth that handles more people more efficiently," he said. "If you had to create an exodus of 100,000 people, where they had to flee from their native land, they could be put up in Las Vegas with no problem," he said.
He added, "We don't want to wish that" kind of refugee-causing catastrophe.

Floored by all this information, I thanked Aykroyd for sharing his thoughts, and I asked whether there's anything else he wants me to tell you. "We're doing a signing at Albertsons next Tuesday," he said.

NASA: Massive solar storm in 2012 could wipe out power grid

NASA is warning this week that a solar storm currently underway on the surface of the sun is projected to hit earth in 2012. But unlike the coronal mass ejection that provided views of the aurora borealis at lower latitudes than normal earlier this month, this solar storm could be so powerful it may wipe out the power grid on the entire planet.


NASA says that other geomagnetic storms occurred back in 1859 and 1921, wiping out telegraph wires completely. The storm in 2012 is expected to be even more severe, possibly leaving humans without transportation, communication, or power. This could have a profound effect on the world economy and hold us hostage in a power-less electrical gridlock.

Could this be the 2012 phenomenon that marks the so-called end of the world or other similar catastrophe?

The current cycle of the sun is projected to be one of the most intense since record keeping began almost 400 years ago. The geomagnetic storms in the earth's atmosphere

in 2012 could have catastrophic effects on the ground here in the Capital District of Albany and upstate New York, with the auroras being a beautiful side effect.

NASA has talked of the coming 2012 solar storms since 2006, and if correct, say this event could threaten to beat out the historic solar maximum of 1958. Now is a good time to review your disaster plan, especially since next month is National Preparedness Month.

The 2012 Media Blackout

In a commencement speech given at Hampton University in Virginia, President Barack Hussein Obama stated that the students are “coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments”. He goes on to say, “information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment”. These statements do not only discount our constitutional right to free speech, but directly attacks the very media that we depend on for information that could effect our continuing existence.

No less then six months ago I was receiving numerous interview requests from media outlets all over the world. My last international interview was with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) back in February 2010, and my last U.S. interview was on The Peter Tilden Show, 790 KABC Radio, Los Angeles CA, in November 2009. As it stands, the only other interview requests I have received in 2010 have been from college and high schools students writing research papers about 2012.

Like most website, I receive much of my national and international 2012 related news leads from a variety of online and offline news services and alerts. Throughout the years leading up to 2010, these lead and related news stories were coming to me almost nonstop. As we approached 2010, the leads and news reports that I receive and pass along to my site visitors have almost completely come to a stop.

Many attributed this lack of media attention to the coming events of 2012 as a sign of disinterest and/or disbelief, which has been perpetrated by the federal government. Through a well-orchestrated diversionary plan, and in an attempt to dispel fear and prevent panic, the powers that by have offered up their own NASA sponsors scientists to debunk the theories, prophecies and predictions surrounding 2012. Despite their best efforts, their plans have not proven as successful as they had hoped and the media warnings about 2012 were continuing. In a last ditch effort to divert the publics attention away from the coming events, it appears that the government has now encouraged and perhaps instituted a media blackout on the entire subject.

Case in point. Over a year ago my wife and I were interviewed and invited to appear on the ABC reality show Wife Swap. We respectfully declined the offer fearing ridicule and public humiliation. However, a willing family was eventually found and the show was produced. The episode entitled, Cathrea/Stewart, was scheduled to air on April 16, 2010, but was pulled at the last possible minute. After a bit of research and with some help from my 2012 Facebook group friends, I eventually learned the following:
Officially ABC and Disney canceled the episode stating that they do not endorse nor give and credence to the potential cataclysmic events associated with the belief in 2012, and they will not air anything that may show them to endorse any fear based materials. If that was truly the case, then why did they produce the show in the first place?

Unofficially and according to a ABC affiliate representative, the show was reviewed by a 'government entity' that ordered the episode to be removed form all publications in the interest of national security. The statement went on to say, “the subject family’s beliefs ran very deep. They were making real plans for survival and were to disclose many of the theories pertaining to 2012. The show was deemed to be a national interest threat and could cause a potential global panic”. The statement went on to say that, “all-future television shows pertaining to 2012 are now subject to approval. The airing of existing and future shows and documentaries, must include an expert scientific disclaimer of impossibility and must be classified as fiction or fantasy”.

It appears that the government is deliberately trying to divert attention away from the coming events of 2012, especially from the ever-growing self-absorbed individuals who are already trapped in their own ignorance and tend to get their information about world events from shows like Wife Swap. In many ways this may be a good thing. These may not necessarily be the types of people we want to survive anyway.

For those of us who choose to be informed and recognize that the world is indeed changing, the government’s media blackout will not effect what we already know to be the truth. Despite the blackout, media personalities such as Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and numerous radio talk show hosts are continuing to warn us about coming disasters. They may not specifically mention 2012, and now we know why, but they are without a doubt continuing to provide us with necessary information about a dismal future. It’s interesting to recognize that these same people are personally endorsing long-term survival resources such as FoodInsurance.com and emergency seed banks. I do not see that as mere coincidence.

Fortunately many books are still being published on the subject, and independent documentaries are still bring developed to help educate us about the coming disasters. In addition and at least for now, the internet seems to be alive and well with websites, blogs, forums and videos dedicated to the coming events of 2012. As useful as all this information is to the masses, it appears that these online resources may also soon be in jeopardy. Through a series of proposed initiatives it appears that the government will soon institute regulation that could limit individuals from creating and posting information that could be perceived as a national security threat, but that is a story for another article.

Personal Seed Bank for 2012

In February 2008, Norway announced the opening of the "doomsday" seed vault. Built deep within an Arctic mountain in the remote Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard, this vault was built to protect millions of food crop seeds from climate change, wars and the coming man-made and natural disasters. Realizing that coming change is inevitable, officials from around the world have described the doomsday vault in terms such as “a Noah's Ark for securing biological diversity for future generations”, and “the frozen Garden of Eden”.

I personally see the construction of this seed vault to be a grand idea. Not only will the seeds provide select individuals with future food sources, but it also serves as an official acknowledgement that the world governments absolutely, with out a doubt know a global disaster is coming. What concerns me most is that the millions of frozen seeds housed within the doomsday seed vault will not be enough to adequately provide food to all whom survives the coming near destruction of human life. Also, how will these seeds be distributed and divided, and will we, as described by BP Chairman Carl-Henric Svanberg, “the small people” even be consider worthy to receive any of the seeds?

As it turns out, there are nearly 1,500 large seed banks owned

and operated by organizations and governments around the world. In addition, personal seed banks purchased and stored by individuals to provide long term food sources for their own families are at an all time high. The importance of these personal seed banks has been promoted and encouraged by such prominent personalities as Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity who have stated that food seeds will eventually be more valuable then gold.

Like many of you, I am now stockpiling food, water and other disaster preparedness supplies. I do however realize that my supplies will only last a short while, and that a long-term solution for continuing survival is necessary. With that in mind, I decided that I too need a personal seed bank.

After much research and not being a gardener myself, I came to realize that not all seeds are suitable for long term storage and viability. You can’t just buy paper packages of seeds now and expect them to last long enough to produce the amount of food you and your family will needs in the future.
